Reliability and Performance Group

A division of the Texas A&M University Turbomachinery Laboratory

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Burak Ayyildiz

Howdy! I am Burak and I have been working with the Reliability and Performance Group at the Turbomachinery Laboratory since fall 2016 as a Ph.D. student. I received my bachelor’s degree from Cukurova University (Turkey) and a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University in mechanical engineering, respectively. I worked at several projects such as erosion study on radial bushings, process-fluid lubricated bearings and pin-hole multiphase flow leakage analysis at hydrocarbon transportation during my graduate school life. Through all these projects, I specialize in both experimental and theoretical analysis of fluid-structure interaction, multiphase flow, and design optimization. I am interested in advancing current energy sources and their applications (production/transportation) to adopt future needs.
