Reliability and Performance Group

A division of the Texas A&M University Turbomachinery Laboratory

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Joshua Vandervort

Howdy! I am Joshua Vandervort, a M.S. student working with the Reliability and Performance Group at the Turbolab. I began working with the group in the Spring of 2017 as an undergraduate assistant. As an undergraduate, I was able to work on projects and use a wide variety of the concepts I had learned in my engineering classes. I enjoyed the variety of work and research process enough to go to grad school. Since starting graduate school in the Fall of 2018 I have been working on the Terry Turbine project and on a multi-phase flow meter development project. On both of these projects, I have continued to apply my engineering knowledge as well as gain additional hands-on experience. After graduation, hopefully in Fall 2019, I plan to pursue a career in industry as an engineer.
