Reliability and Performance Group

A division of the Texas A&M University Turbomachinery Laboratory

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Robert Hure

Originally from California, I’ve been in Texas for 6 years now. I completed my undergraduate at Trinity University in San Antonio, and I’ve been at Texas A&M for my Masters since the Fall of 2017. I completed my thesis in the R&P group related to wear and dynamic performance of interstage seals for ESPs, and I’ll be graduating in May 2019. I’m currently working on a project investigating liquid trapped within a rotor, as well as a project investigating the rotordynamics of hydrostatic porous carbon bearings. I will be joining Solar Turbines after graduation.
