A division of the Texas A&M University Turbomachinery Laboratory

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Surya Balaji

Howdy! My name is Surya Balaji and I started working at the Turbomachinery Lab in Fall 2020. I completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M, and am currently pursuing a Masters of Science. Taking the MEEN 668 Rotordynamics course with Dr. Delgado helped confirm this decision, and further cultivate my interest in turbomachinery. To me, the allure of turbomachinery isĀ  that it touches on so many components of core mechanical engineering. I believe that turbomachinery applications represent the pinnacle of mechanical engineering innovation, and I aim to be a part of future designs and research work in the field. My anticipated graduation date for my Masters is Spring 2022.
