Thomas is a former Ph.D. student who has received both his bachelors and masters degree at Texas A&M University in mechanical engineering. He has been at the lab for five years and plans to graduate within a year. He works primarily on the thrust collar test rig, but has been a part of several other testing campaigns. After graduation, he hopes to stay in research, perhaps eventually ending in academia.
